Another school of thought believe that the Bible is divided into two(2) parts namely
- Genesis 1 and 2.
- Genesis 3 up to revelation.
GENESIS 1&2
This is the first part of the Bible according to a school of thought. This was the first original plan God had for mankind.Example, whenever someone is going to build a house, construct a road or even do business. The person first of all have a plan or draws a plan. The plan shows how you want that particular thing to look like.
Genesis 1 & 2, is seen as the first part of the Bible that God shows us how He wants us to be or how we will be. We can see that in Genesis 1;26-28. Genesis 1;26,And God said,let us make man in our image,after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fishes of the sea,and over the fowl of the air,and over the cattle,and over all the earth,and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Genesis 1;27, So God created man in his own image,in the image of God created he him;male and female created he him.
Genesis 1;28, And God blessed them,and God said unto them, Be fruitful,and multiply,and replenish the earth,and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea,and over the fowl of the air,and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
In summery God plans for us are;
1.to walk after his likeness or his image
2.To be fruitful
3.To multiply
4.To have power over everything[ on earth
5.To live and have eternal life
- WALK AFTER HIS LIKENESS OR HIS IMAGE, this implies that God made us to represent him or be his agents on earth. It also means that we have to manifest the character of God on earth.
